FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter (R) and Agence France Presse (AFP) Foundation director Robert Holloway are pictured on December 2, 2008 at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich during a signing ceremony for a training programme for 300 African sports journalists next year. World football's governing body FIFA and the AFP Foundation are teaming up to organise the training programme, involving reporters and photographers from all 53 countries in Africa, and being funded by FIFA. Training is to be provided by the AFP Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation set up by Agence France Presse, one of the three major global news agencies. The sports journalists to-be will gather twice in eight cities for week-long courses, all part of FIFA's 'Win In Africa With Africa' project launched after South Africa was chosen to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
